Our chapter is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Planning Collaboration (MAPC), which is hosting a Resiliency Series of webinars through 2024. The first webinar was Resiliency 101 and laid out the basics. Delaware’s is the second webinar and will focus on resilience (and sustainability) at the local level. We will hear from our partners at the Resilient and Sustainable Communities League (RASCL), DelDOT’s sustainability team, and the Coastal Resource Design Studio.
Synopsis
Planners in Delaware are empowering local communities to develop resiliency and sustainability plans and to complete local mitigation projects to build community resilience. This webinar will feature a panel of speakers that will share examples of planning resources and local projects that are benefiting Delaware’s vulnerable communities. The audience will gain valuable resources and best practices that they can replicate in the context of their own communities.
